Our Team

I have always been around animals from a very young age, my grandfather ran the local riding school and both him and my mum had a very good knowledge of animals which they taught me through the years.

I grew up on a farm with my parents and helped them run their livery and kennel business, I was always on hand to help with puppies being delivered or foals being born. My favorite job was looking after the farm cats making sure they where fed, watered and healthy. Friends and family always knew where to find me, up in the barn with my feline friends!

I have always wanted to work with animals but when I left school my career path took me in a different direction and I became a retail regional manager working for several large companies. Years later I met Phil we married and a few years later we had our daughter Jodie then six years later our son Jack.

We now live on a 6 acre small holding and it wasn’t until Jack started school that I realized I wanted to follow my passion in life running my own business and working from home.

So how did our Cat Hotel come about? Well it was a fluke really, my parents had always looked after my cat when we went on holiday but my mum became ill and was unable to look after her so we began looking at catteries in the area, it was at that point that I realized there was nothing out there where I would feel happy leaving her. That’s how my idea began, now after 2 years of planning I have hopefully created a place I would use myself, a home from home, caring, luxurious, small and personal environment. A place I am extremely proud of, a place where I love working every day and a place where I am confident that even the most regal cat would love to stay. Unfortunately our little friend passed away this year. We had 18 amazing years with her, she was our inspiration for our  fabulous hotel and will always have a very special place in our hearts.
